When in confusion with what to wear just go for a yellow dress/suit. If you are wearing a kurta/kurti/anarkali nd it’s having a heavy design around the neck region its better not to wear any heavy jewellery in the neck. You can definitely go for something lighter. As you are not wearing any bulky neck piece go for big earrings/jhumkas/hoops , they are fabulous. And also if you are not provided a dupatta with the set , in that case also you can go for chunky earrings. It helps us to elevate the look . In shoes, flats are more compatible than heels as it gives a lot of traditional video and super comfy too.

Today I’m wearing a yellow anarkali with a dupatta with white stone jhumkas. Aren’t they looking like made for each other ?

And also pairing it up with flats and for hair I kept it open with middle partition. You can also go for a side braid and pull some hair out in the front. 😀

Contrast Of Blue and Black

A day out with friends, pairing my favourite pair of jeans with a super oversized highneck.

On the top wearing a BLUE OVERSIZED RIBBED HIGHNECK which have a lace in the bottom to tie it up to give make it a little bit shorter. For bottom wear I’m wearing a black pair of HIGH WAISTED DENIMS. I styled it with a pair of PINK SNEAKERS. And for the hair part I did a high ponytail and nothing more.

This contrast of black and blue wasn’t that bad. It was better than I thought it would be.

Clothing has long ago ceased to be just a protection from the cold and the sun. There are certain occasions where it is more practical to wear some traditional attire just like Raksha Bandhan/Bhai dooj. Usually we wear western clothes cause its simplify the efforts but again it is also important to preserve traditional clothes as it shows our culture. There are also certain occasions where traditional clothes are a must. There are occasions like wedding and cultural functions where the graceful traditional clothes adds colours and galety to the occasion.
